Before the flood

During the flood
Schools closed for almost three months. Many pupils were displaced and lost their belongings—uniforms, shoes, and school supplies.
After the flood
The government and private companies built temporary housing for victims, but teaching conditions remained difficult. Lessons resumed slowly, and attendance stayed low.
